Abstract: Platelet-rich plasma has been used as a vehicle for growing factors potentially increasing the natural process of regeneration and cicatrisation and bone and soft tissue growth.
The process to obtain platelet-rich plasma is achieved by the separation and concentration of platelets.
The traditional method presents various disadvantages therefore we propose a platelet-rich plasma technique that can be done in private practice due to its easy execution, non specific equipment and trained staff. This technique is not expensive and can bring great benefit to the patient.
